Gabion box is a kind of ecological grid structure. Gabion box, with characteristics of  high corrosion, high strength, is woven by low carbon steel wire or PVC coated wire. Products produced by using lattice bin stone cage, the box structure, is lattice of gabion cages. According to the ASTM and EN standards, the used low carbon steel wire diameter is different according to the engineering requirement. Generally speaking, the wire diameter should be between 2.0 to 4.0 mm; the tensile strength of the steel should be not less than 38 kg/m2,,the surface metal coating weight is generally higher than 245 g/m2. Gabion box's mesh wire in diameter should be thinner than the edge wire's diameter. The double stranded part shall not be less than 50 mm to ensure the stranded wire metal coating and PVC coating are not destroyed.
