Key Points of Composite Geomembrane Technology

1. The large roll composite geomembrane should be laid mechanically, while the small roll composite geomembrane can be laid manually.

2. The laying direction of composite geomembrane should conform to the design requirements and minimize the number of joints, so that the joint position is parallel to the direction of high tensile stress.

3. When laying composite geomembrane, it should not be too tight, leaving enough margin (about 1.5%) for splicing and adapting to temperature changes. It should be laid with pressure and put a 20-40_heavy sand bag every 2-5 meters at the edge of the film to prevent the wind from blowing.

4. The connection between composite geomembrane and surrounding buildings is anchored by expansion bolts and steel plate bars. At the corner, attention should be paid to cutting composite geomembrane properly to ensure proper connection with surrounding buildings.

5. Sample welding test should be done before composite geomembrane welding. According to the test results, the welding equipment should be adjusted to the best state.

6. When welding composite geomembrane, the welding quality should be observed at any time. According to the actual construction situation, adjust the welding equipment to the best working condition at any time.

7. The joints formed between composite geomembrane should be T-shaped, not cross-shaped. Material should be used to repair scars at T-shaped joints. The size of the scar can be 300 x 300. The right angle of the scar should be rounded.

8. When virtual welding or leak welding occurs in composite geomembrane, the weld seam must be cut and repaired by hot-melt extrusion welding machine.

Construction Method of Needle-punched Geotextile

1. Cleaning up and leveling the construction site;

2. Spread needle-punched geotextiles evenly on the construction site.

3. Connect needle-punched geotextiles. When lapping, the lapping width of flat ground construction is greater than 30, and that of uneven ground or very bad foundation soil is greater than 50.

4. Spread needle-punched Geotextiles to fill the soil and leveling it.

5. Compaction of filling soil and attention should be paid to avoiding direct rolling of vehicles on needle-punched geotextiles during construction.
